Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken. For this recipe, boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs work best. If you're using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness so they cook evenly.
  • Make sure your grill is hot. A hot grill will help to sear the chicken and prevent it from sticking. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat before you start cooking.
  • Don't overcrowd the grill. If you crowd the grill, the chicken will not cook evenly. Leave some space between each piece of chicken so that the air can circulate.
  • Baste the chicken regularly. Basting the chicken with the orange mustard sauce will help to keep it moist and flavorful. Baste the chicken every few minutes, or as needed.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through. The chicken is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check the internal temperature of the chicken using a meat thermometer.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving. Letting the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

This orange mustard grilled chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make recipe that is perfect for a summer cookout. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful orange mustard sauce, then grilled to perfection. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or salad.
