Tips:
- Choose the right sweet potatoes: Look for firm, unblemished sweet potatoes that are about the same size. This will ensure that they cook evenly.
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes: Scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Then, use a sharp knife or vegetable peeler to remove the skin.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into even-sized pieces: This will help them cook evenly. Aim for pieces that are about 1-2 inches in size.
- Boil the sweet potatoes: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the sweet potato pieces and cook them until they are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the sweet potatoes well.
