3 cups very warm water ((120 to 130 degrees F))
6 Tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cans tomato puree ((10.34 ounces each))

Time 23m

Yield 1 cup

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato puree
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the pizza will taste. If possible, buy your ingredients from a local farmer's market or organic grocery store.
  • Make your own dough: Making your own dough is not as difficult as you might think, and it will give you a much better tasting pizza than using store-bought dough.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the most important ingredients on a pizza, so don't skimp on it. Use a high-quality, flavorful cheese like mozzarella, cheddar, or Parmesan.
  • Don't overload the pizza with toppings: Too many toppings can make the pizza soggy and difficult to cook. Stick to a few simple toppings that you love.
  • Cook the pizza at a high temperature: The higher the temperature, the crispier the crust will be. Cook the pizza at the highest temperature your oven will allow.

Conclusion:

Making pizza at home is a great way to enjoy a delicious, affordable meal with your family and friends. With a little practice, you'll be able to make pizza that's just as good as anything you'd find at a pizzeria. So what are you waiting for? Get started today!
