Tips:

  • Use room temperature ingredients. This will help your cake bars bake evenly and prevent them from becoming dry or crumbly.
  • Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can make your cake bars tough and dense. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake bars in a preheated oven. This will help them rise evenly and prevent them from sinking in the middle.
  • Do not overbake the cake bars. Overbaking can make them dry and crumbly. Bake them just until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake bars cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly and prevent it from melting.

Conclusion:

Payday cake bars are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with a simple butter cake batter that is topped with a sweet and salty caramel sauce and chopped peanuts. These cake bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
