Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Divide 2 tablespoons of the butter between 4 (6-ounce) ramekins. Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and set aside. 1 1/3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour

  • Heat oven to 325°F. Grease bottom and sides of 8- or 9-inch square pan with shortening.

1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
1/4 cup unsalted butter, plus 2 tablespoons, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup crushed gingersnap cookies (8 to 12 cookies)
2/3 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup half-and-half
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, to serve

Steps:

  • Line the slow cooker with a large sheet of parchment paper, letting the ends reach over the rim, and pushing the paper firmly into the bottom of the slow cooker insert. Generously spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine the peaches and crystallized ginger. Set aside.
  • In a small saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of the butter. Stir in the brown sugar. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker and spread evenly over the bottom.   • Lift the cake from the slow cooker using the long ends of the parchment paper and place on a large dinner plate. Place a second dinner plate on top. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root

¼ teaspoon ground white pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or more as needed
½ teaspoon smoked paprika

1 pound pork tenderloin, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch thick slices
3 medium (blank)s fresh peaches - pitted, skinned, and sliced
