Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use ripe, juicy peaches. If your peaches are not ripe, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with an apple or banana.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the muffins tough.
  • Fill the muffin cups only 2/3 full. This will allow the muffins to rise properly.
  • Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
  • Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help them to hold their shape.

Conclusion:

Peaches and cream muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast treat. They are perfect for a summer brunch or a quick snack. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have these muffins ready to enjoy in no time. So next time you have a craving for something sweet, give these peaches and cream muffins a try. You won't be disappointed!
