Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c light brown sugar
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
9 inch graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat sugars and peanut butter together until well-blended and forms crumb mix. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until smooth. Slowly mix in flour. Using spoon, stir in chocolate chips. Bake pie in preheated oven 10 minutes, reduce to 350 and bake 20-30 minutes more, until top is firm and browned and filling is set. Cool and serve at room temperature.

Tips:

  • Use a high-quality chocolate that you enjoy the taste of. This will make a big difference in the final flavor of the pie.
  • Make sure your butter and cream cheese are softened to room temperature before you start mixing them together. This will help them to blend smoothly and create a creamy filling.
  • Don't overmix the filling. Overmixing can make it tough and dense. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Chill the pie crust before baking it. This will help to prevent it from shrinking and cracking.
  • Bake the pie until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. The center of the pie should still be slightly jiggly.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will allow the filling to firm up and the flavors to develop.
