Tips:

  • Use fresh cream cheese: Cold cream cheese right out of the fridge will mix better and produce a smoother filling. For a no-bake recipe, cold cream cheese will also set better.
  • Do not overbeat the cheesecake batter: Overbeating will result in a dense and tough cheesecake. Carefully mix until just combined.
  • Use a water bath to prevent cracking: Place the cheesecake pan inside a larger pan filled with hot water. This will help regulate the temperature and prevent the cheesecake from rapidly cooling and cracking.
  • Bake the cheesecake in a preheated oven: This helps create an even bake and minimizes the risk of cracking.
  • Let the cheesecake chill completely: After baking, allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, for best results.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings: Fresh fruit, whipped cream, or a drizzle of your favorite sauce can enhance the flavors of the cheesecake.
