- Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the chicken and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked. Remove from the heat.

- Spoon equal amounts of the chicken mixture onto the pastry sheets, covering half of each sheet but leaving a gap at the edge to seal the pastry.
- Top the chicken mixture with the grated mozzarella cheese.

- Brush each pasty with the beaten egg.

Tips:
- Prep your ingredients: Chop your vegetables, mince your garlic, and measure out your ingredients before you start cooking. This will help you stay organized and make the cooking process go more smoothly.
- Use fresh basil: Fresh basil is essential for a flavorful pesto. If you can, grow your own basil or buy it from a local farmers market.
- Toast your pine nuts: Toasting your pine nuts will bring out their flavor and make them more fragrant. You can toast them in a pan over medium heat or in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes.
- Don't overcook the chicken: Chicken breasts can easily become dry and tough if they are overcooked. Cook them until they are just cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per side.
- Serve the puff pasties warm: Puff pastries are best served warm, right out of the oven. You can reheat them in the oven or toaster oven if you need to.
