The wine shop I work for recently had a Sangria party for our customers. This was one of the recipes we used. It is best to allow this to sit overnight (add ice just before serving) but if you're in a rush it will still be good to drink right away.

Tips:

  • Use fresh fruits and herbs: Fresh fruits and herbs will give your sangria the best flavor. If you can't find fresh fruit, you can use frozen fruit, but be sure to thaw it before using.
  • Choose a good wine: The wine you use for sangria should be a light-bodied, fruity wine. A good choice is a Spanish Rioja or a Portuguese vinho verde. Avoid using a heavy-bodied wine, as it will overpower the other flavors in the sangria.
  • Sweeten to taste: Sangria is traditionally a sweet drink, but you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. If you like your sangria sweet, add some sugar or honey. If you prefer a less sweet sangria, omit the sugar or honey.
  • Chill before serving: Sangria is best served chilled. Chill it for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fruit and herbs: When you serve sangria, garnish it with fresh fruit and herbs. This will make it look and taste even better.

Conclusion:

Portuguese sangria branco is a refreshing and delicious summertime drink. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a refreshing drink to enjoy, give Portuguese sangria branco a try. You won't be disappointed!
