Time 50m

Yield 12

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ white cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
1 container (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped strawberry mist frosting
12 plastic push-up pop containers
12 small fresh strawberries
12 sprigs fresh mint, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 24 mini muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and egg whites with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Fill muffin cups half full with batter. (Cover and refrigerate remaining batter until ready to bake; cool pan before reusing and spray again with cooking spray.)

Tips:

  • Prep Your Pie Crust: Before you start, make sure your pie crust is ready. You can use a pre-made crust or make your own from scratch. If using a pre-made crust, let it thaw according to the package instructions.
  • Use Fresh Berries: Fresh berries give the pie its best flavor and texture. If you can, use a variety of berries, such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.
  • Don't Overcook the Berries: Overcooked berries will lose their flavor and texture. Cook them just until they are softened and juicy.
  • Use a Thickener: A thickener, such as cornstarch or flour, will help to thicken the pie filling and prevent it from being runny.
  • Chill the Pie Before Serving: Chilling the pie before serving allows the flavors to meld and the filling to set. This will make the pie easier to slice and serve.

The Pretty in Pink Pie is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its vibrant pink color and sweet and tangy flavor, this pie is sure to be a hit.
