Tips:
- Make sure your Bisquick is fresh. Check the expiration date on the package before you start baking.
- Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. Pumpkin pie filling contains sugar and spices, which will alter the flavor of your pumpkin bars.
- Gently mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined. Overmixing will make your pumpkin bars tough.
- Bake the pumpkin bars until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let the pumpkin bars cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly.
Conclusion:
These pumpkin bars are a delicious and easy fall treat. They're perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a snack at home. With their moist texture, warm spices, and creamy frosting, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
