Tips:

  • Use fresh pumpkin puree: Fresh pumpkin puree gives the bread a more vibrant flavor and color. If you don't have fresh pumpkin puree, you can use canned pumpkin puree, but make sure it is unsweetened.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can make the bread tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help the bread hold its shape and prevent it from crumbling.
  • Serve the bread warm or at room temperature: Pumpkin patch bread is best served warm or at room temperature. You can also toast the bread and spread it with butter or cream cheese.
