⅔ cup quick-cooking oats
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
2 teaspoons butter, melted
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup milk, or more as needed

2 cups quick-cooking oats
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup egg substitute
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine oats and buttermilk; let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in egg substitute and oil; set aside., In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. 3 eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup milk
1 -1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the first 6 ingredients until well combined Whisk in the last two, starting with only 1 cup of flour to see if the last 1/2 cup is needed or not.
