You can omit the vanilla if you wish, but it's such a small amount all it does is bring out the other flavors. This recipe is a small batch, makes 6 half pint jars. You can easily double this recipe. Tips
- Use fresh raspberries. Fresh raspberries have the best flavor and will yield the most vibrant sauce.
- Don't overcook the raspberries. Overcooked raspberries will lose their flavor and become mushy. Cook them just until they are softened and have released their juices.
- Use a good quality honey. The honey you use will make a big difference in the flavor of the sauce. Choose a honey that is flavorful and has a nice amber color.
- Add a little lemon juice. A little lemon juice will help to brighten the flavor of the sauce.
- Serve the sauce warm or cold. Raspberry honey sauce can be served warm over pancakes, waffles, or ice cream. It can also be served cold as a dipping sauce for fruit or crackers.
Conclusion
Raspberry honey sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that is perfect for a variety of desserts and snacks. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a sweet and flavorful sauce, give raspberry honey sauce a try!
