  • Cool 15 minutes and remove side of pan.
  • Center will settle slightly.
  • Store in refrigerator.

Tips:

  • Soften Butter Properly: Allow the butter to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes before creaming it with the sugar. This will ensure that the butter is light and fluffy, and will help to create a smooth and even batter.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar Thoroughly: Cream the butter and sugar together until they are light and fluffy, and the sugar has dissolved. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a light and airy coffee cake.
  • Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough and dense coffee cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use Fresh Sour Cream: Fresh sour cream will give the coffee cake a rich and tangy flavor. If you don't have fresh sour cream, you can substitute plain yogurt.
  • Don't Overbake the Coffee Cake: Overbaking the coffee cake can result in a dry and crumbly cake. Bake the coffee cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Conclusion:

This raspberry sour cream coffee cake is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet raspberries and tangy sour cream makes this coffee cake irresistible. With its moist and fluffy texture, this coffee cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
