RED DEVIL CRANBERRIES

Provided by Guy Fieri

Time 40m

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 teaspoons canola oil
1/4 cup minced shallot
1 teaspoon minced serrano chile pepper
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup agave syrup
1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
1 blood orange
1 tablespoon minced chipotle chile pepper in adobo sauce, plus 1 teaspoon of the sauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Kosher salt

Steps:

  • Heat the canola oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the shallot and serrano pepper and cook until softened, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add the orange juice and agave syrup, bring to a simmer and add the cranberries. Cook at a low boil until the cranberries have all popped and are just starting to reduce, 6 to 7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cut off the top and bottom of the blood orange. Working over a bowl, peel the orange with a sharp knife, then slice between the membranes, letting the segments fall into the bowl. Stir the orange segments and any juice, the chipotle and adobo sauce, cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt into the cranberries.
  • Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thick, about 20 minutes.

OREO® DEVILS

Oreo® Devils image

I made these little chocolate-covered Oreo® devils with my kids yesterday and they were a huge hit! I did the covering and they did the decorating. We also did a second batch as little monsters, where we just dunked the tops into red sprinkles and then glued either 1 big eye or lots of little eyes onto them. They were gone in no time at the kids' school Halloween party.

RED HOT DEVILS

Red Hot Devils image

These are hotdogs in a spicy red sauce. This is my mom's creation and we love them! Recently my hubby and I had a craving for them but didn't have any hotdogs so we cut up a ring bologna in chunks and covered it in the sauce and baked it - YUM!! There is a lot of room to play with the ingredients: mustard could be the yellow stuff or dijon; relish could be sweet or dill; diced onion could be fresh or dehydrated; vinegar could be white, red wine, cider, etc. ENJOY and make this your own!

Red-Hot Buffalo Deviled Eggs image

Look out! These game-time snacks are ready to play. Serve them up on Super Bowl Sunday for a winning alternative to wings and dip...chances are, they're a little tidier! To really pump up the blue cheese flavor, add a few crumbles on top of each egg.

Provided by Kathy Casey

Yield Makes 24

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 dozen hard-cooked eggs
Filling
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon Frank's Red-Hot Buffalo Wings sauce
2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon celery salt (or substitute table salt)
Topping
2 tablespoons Frank's Red-Hot Buffalo Wings sauce
1/3 cup very tiny-diced celery
24 tiny celery leaves

Steps:

  • Halve the eggs lengthwise and transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl. Set the egg white halves on a platter, cover, and refrigerate.
  • With a fork, mash the yolks to a smooth consistency. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Frank's sauce, blue cheese, parsley, and celery salt, and mix until smooth. (You can also do this using an electric mixer with a whip attachment.) Taste and season accordingly.
  • Spoon the mixture into a pastry bag fitted with a plain or large star tip, then pipe the mixture evenly into the egg white halves. Or fill the eggs with a spoon, dividing the filling evenly.
  • To make the topping, in a small bowl, mix Frank's sauce with the celery until well coated. Top each egg half with about 1 teaspoon of the mixture and a celery leaf.

Tips:

  • To make the red hot devils, you will need the following ingredients: red hots, crushed graham crackers, melted butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips.
  • First, you will need to line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Then, you will need to crush the red hots and graham crackers in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.
  • Next, you will need to mix the melted butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until they are smooth and creamy.
  • After that, you will need to add the crushed red hots and graham crackers to the bowl and mix until they are well combined.
  • Finally, you will need to spread the mixture into the prepared baking pan and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Once the red hot devils are chilled, you can cut them into squares and serve them.
