Tips:

  • Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough before baking helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much.
  • Use Room Temperature Butter: Room temperature butter is easier to cream with the sugar, resulting in a smoother and more evenly textured cookie dough.
  • Don't Overmix the Dough: Overmixing the dough can result in tough cookies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use a Cookie Scoop: Using a cookie scoop helps to ensure that the cookies are all the same size and shape, which promotes even baking.
  • Bake the Cookies until the Edges are Just Set: The cookies will continue to bake on the baking sheet as they cool, so it's important to take them out of the oven before they're completely set.
  • Let the Cookies Cool Completely: Letting the cookies cool completely before storing or serving allows them to firm up and develop their full flavor.

Conclusion:

These refrigerator sugar cookies are a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With their simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, they're perfect for bakers of all skill levels.
