Steps:
- Preheat your grill on a medium-high setting for 5 minutes. In a medium bowl, mix the sugar, honey and mustard together well. (It will be a little thick, but don't worry. It thins out as it interacts with the heat from the grill.) Place the unwrapped ham steak on the preheated grill and brush half of the glaze on top. Let it heat for 3 minutes. Turn the ham steak over and brush the other half of the glaze on the part that is facing the top. Let it heat for 3 more minutes.

Tips:
- Choose the right ham steaks. Look for ham steaks that are at least 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will ensure that the ham steaks are juicy and flavorful.
- Preheat the oven. This will help the ham steaks cook evenly.
- Use a good quality glaze. The glaze is what will give the ham steaks their flavor, so use a glaze that you like. There are many different recipes for glazes available online or in cookbooks.
- Cook the ham steaks for the correct amount of time. Ham steaks are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Overcooking the ham steaks will make them tough and dry.
- Let the ham steaks rest before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the ham steaks, making them more tender and flavorful.
Conclusion:
Ruth's Simple Glazed Ham Steaks are a delicious and easy-to-make meal. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that your family and friends will love.
