SALAMI PIE
When I was little, my mother got this from a friend of hers. It has been a family favorite and is now my kids favorite. It is very quick and easy! It is kind of like a pizza but different. My teenagers love it and always request it!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Unroll crescent rolls and place in a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan to make a bottom crust (press together seams). Then spread the mozzarella chees on top of the crust.
- 2. Next add the salami (I usually do three across until it is covered). Spread the beaten eggs with pepper over the salami (I use a spoon to spread the eggs evenly over it). Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 3. Bake in the 325 degree oven for about 40 - 45 minutes. Cut into squares.
- 4. Enjoy!! I usually serve a salad with this.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the pie will be. Choose a good quality salami, cheese, and bread.
- Don't overcook the salami: Salami is a cured meat, so it doesn't need to be cooked for long. Overcooking will make it tough and chewy.
- Use a variety of cheeses: A combination of cheeses will give the pie a more complex flavor. Try using a mixture of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan.
- Use a good quality bread: The bread is the base of the pie, so it's important to use a good quality loaf. A crusty Italian bread or a French baguette are both good choices.
- Don't be afraid to experiment: There are many different ways to make a salami pie. Feel free to experiment with different ingredients and flavors to find your favorite recipe.
Conclusion:
Salami pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. It can be made with a variety of ingredients, so it's a great way to use up leftovers. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a hearty dinner, salami pie is a great option.
