MOZZARELLA AVOCADO AND TOMATO SALAD IN VINAIGRETTE

Mozzarella Avocado and Tomato Salad in Vinaigrette image

Posted for Zaar World Tour: I keep a very small bottle of this vinaigrette made up in my fridge.. keep only small amount and make it every few days so that it is at it's very freshest best. This makes a fast, easy, yummy salad for those warm summer evenings. Mix the vinaigrette well before using because it separates on standing (personally, since I'm trying to loose weight, I use less vinaigrette, so this amount does me 2-3 small salads for 2 people) Salad, ZWT Region: ITALY

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, flavorful tomatoes. This is key to a great salad. Look for tomatoes that are deep red and have no blemishes.
  • Use fresh mozzarella cheese. Fresh mozzarella is softer and has a more delicate flavor than regular mozzarella.
  • Slice the salami and mozzarella thinly. This will help the flavors to meld together.
  • Make the vinaigrette ahead of time. This will allow the flavors to develop.
  • Toss the salad gently. You don't want to bruise the tomatoes or mozzarella.
  • Serve the salad immediately. This is a best way to enjoy the fresh flavors.

Conclusion:

This easy salad is a delicious and refreshing way to enjoy summer produce. The sweet tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and salty salami are a perfect combination. The tangy vinaigrette adds a nice finishing touch. This salad is sure to be a hit at your next potluck or picnic.
