Tips:

  • To ensure a flavorful and juicy steak, choose a high-quality cut, such as ribeye or strip steak.
  • Season the steak generously with salt and pepper before searing. This will help to enhance the natural flavors of the meat.
  • Sear the steak over high heat for a short amount of time. This will create a delicious crust on the outside while keeping the inside tender and juicy.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender steak.
  • To make the charred nectarine salad, choose ripe and flavorful nectarines. Grill or pan-sear the nectarines until they are slightly charred and caramelized.
  • Combine the charred nectarines with arugula, feta cheese, pecans, and basil. Drizzle with a simple vinaigrette dressing to complete the salad.

Conclusion:

This seared steak and charred nectarine salad is a delicious and refreshing summer meal. The tender and juicy steak pairs perfectly with the sweet and smoky nectarines. The feta cheese, pecans, and basil add a nice crunch and flavor to the salad. This dish is sure to be a hit at your next backyard barbecue or potluck.
