Tips:

  • For the freshest tuna, look for fish that is bright red or pink in color, with a firm texture. Avoid tuna that is brown or gray, as this indicates that it is not fresh.
  • When searing tuna, it is important to use a very hot skillet. This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the fish while keeping the inside rare.
  • If you don't have a kitchen torch, you can sear the tuna in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side, or until it is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • To make the ginger noodles, be sure to use fresh ginger. This will give the noodles the best flavor.
  • If you don't have rice vinegar, you can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar instead.
  • To make the sauce, you can use any type of soy sauce that you like. However, dark soy sauce will give the sauce a richer flavor.
  • To garnish the dish, you can use chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or microgreens.

Conclusion:

Seared tuna with ginger noodles is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The tuna is cooked to perfection, and the ginger noodles are flavorful and refreshing. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
