1/2 cup butter
3 lemons, juice of
pepper, to taste
1 -2 tablespoon chives

  • Light fire, and let coals ash, you want a slow-med fire.
  • Sauté garlic in butter.
  • Remove from heat and add lemon juice, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, and chives.

  • Put shrimp on skewers.
  • Put foil on grill and lay shrimp skewers on foil.
  • Grill for 6-10 minutes or until done.

Tips:

  • Choose the right shrimp: Opt for large, fresh shrimp with their shells intact. Avoid pre-cooked or frozen shrimp, as they tend to be tougher and less flavorful.
  • Clean the shrimp properly: Rinse the shrimp thoroughly under cold water. Remove the shells and devein the shrimp by making a shallow incision along the back and removing the dark vein.
  • Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in a flavorful mixture of herbs, spices, and oil enhances their taste and prevents them from drying out during grilling.
  • Skewer the shrimp properly: Use metal or wooden skewers to skewer the shrimp. Avoid overcrowding the skewers, as this can make them difficult to flip and cook evenly.
  • Preheat your grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat before grilling the shrimp. This helps sear the shrimp quickly and prevents them from sticking to the grates.
  • Grill the shrimp quickly: Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn opaque and slightly pink in the center. Overcooking can make the shrimp tough and rubbery.
  • Serve immediately: Serve the grilled shrimp immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.
