SUMMER SHRIMP SALAD WITH CILANTRO

Summer Shrimp Salad With Cilantro image

This is really tasty and very easy to whip up. It's great as a side dish, or a light lunch. I've made it using cilantro and when I don't have Cilantro, I use basil. Both are very delicious! This salad is easy to make substitutions if you don't have one or two of the ingredients on hand. Enjoy, and of course, don't wait until summer to try!

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, wild-caught shrimp.
  • If you don't have access to fresh shrimp, frozen shrimp will work just fine. Just be sure to thaw them completely before using.
  • Be careful not to overcook the shrimp. Overcooked shrimp will be tough and rubbery.
  • Use a light hand when mixing the salad. You don't want to break up the shrimp or the avocado.
  • Serve the salad immediately, or chill it for up to 2 hours before serving.

Conclusion:

Shrimp salad with cilantro dressing is a light, refreshing, and flavorful salad that's perfect for a summer lunch or dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover shrimp. With its zesty cilantro dressing and crunchy vegetables, this salad is sure to please everyone at the table.
