Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: For this recipe, a sirloin steak is recommended. It's a flavorful and affordable cut that cooks quickly.
  • Tenderize the steak: Pounding the steak with a meat mallet or using a fork to poke holes in it helps to tenderize it and ensure even cooking.
  • Use high-quality butter: Unsalted butter is best so you can control the amount of salt in the dish. If you only have salted butter, use less salt in the recipe.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When searing the steak, make sure to give it enough space in the pan so that it can cook evenly.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steak to ensure it is cooked to your liking.
  • Let the steak rest: After cooking, let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful dish.
  • Serve with your favorite sides: Sirloin steak with garlic butter pairs well with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad.

Conclusion:

Sirloin steak with garlic butter is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. By following the tips above, you can ensure that your steak is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. So next time you're looking for a quick and satisfying meal, give this recipe a try.
