Tips:
- Choose the right ribs: Baby back ribs are the most popular choice for barbecue ribs, but you can also use spare ribs or country-style ribs.
- Trim the ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs before cooking. This will help the ribs cook evenly and make them more tender.
- Season the ribs: Season the ribs liberally with your favorite barbecue rub. You can also add a little bit of brown sugar or honey for extra sweetness.
- Cook the ribs slowly: Cook the ribs on low heat for several hours, or until they are fall-off-the-bone tender.
- Add vegetables: Adding vegetables to the slow cooker with the ribs is a great way to add extra flavor and nutrition to your meal. Bell peppers, onions, and potatoes are all good choices.
- Make a sauce: If you want a more flavorful sauce for your ribs, you can make a simple sauce by combining ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Serve the ribs: Serve the ribs with your favorite sides, such as coleslaw, baked beans, or potato salad.
Conclusion:
Slow cooker country-style barbecue ribs are a delicious and easy meal that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a delicious rack of ribs that will impress your family and friends.
