1 clove garlic, minced
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed of fat
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

4 pita pocket breads
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced in thin strips

Steps:

  • In a slow cooker, combine onion, garlic, chicken, lemon pepper, oregano, and allspice. Mix to coat chicken with seasonings. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours. CUCUMBER SAUCE:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1 garlic clove, minced

1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 chopped onion
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 cup yogurt
4 pita breads

Steps:

  • Place chicken in greased crock pot.
  • Top the chicken with onions, lemon pepper and oregano.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • 10 minutes before serving, remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
