Tips:

  • Make sure to use a slow cooker that is large enough to fit all of the ingredients. A 6-quart slow cooker is a good option.
  • Brown the meat before adding it to the slow cooker. This will help to develop the flavor of the meat and make it more tender.
  • Use a variety of cheeses in the filling. This will give the manicotti a more complex flavor. Some good options include ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Don't overcook the manicotti. The manicotti should be cooked until it is tender, but still slightly firm. Overcooked manicotti will be mushy.
  • Serve the manicotti with a simple sauce. A marinara sauce or a tomato sauce is a good option. You can also top the manicotti with grated Parmesan cheese.

Conclusion:

Slow cooker two-meat manicotti is a delicious and easy-to-make meal. It is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your manicotti turns out perfect every time.
