Tips:

  • Activate the yeast properly: Ensure the water is lukewarm (around 110-115°F or 43-46°C) to activate the yeast effectively. If the water is too hot, it can kill the yeast, and if it's too cold, the yeast won't activate properly.
  • Knead the dough thoroughly: Kneading the dough helps develop the gluten, which gives the rolls their soft and chewy texture. Knead the dough for at least 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: Find a cozy spot in your kitchen, away from drafts, for the dough to rise. This allows the yeast to work its magic and make the dough light and airy.
  • Shape the rolls carefully: When shaping the rolls, handle the dough gently to maintain its air pockets. Roll the dough into tight balls or your desired shape without overworking it.
  • Bake the rolls at the right temperature: Preheat your oven to the specified temperature and bake the rolls accordingly. Baking at the correct temperature ensures the rolls cook evenly and have a beautiful golden-brown crust.
