SOUR CHERRY SORBET

Sour Cherry Sorbet image

When sour cherries are in season, this preparation really shows off their color and flavor. Do not omit the salt as it keeps the sorbet 'scoopable' instead of a solid block of ice. Preparation time does not include time for pitting cherries. I get mine in Door County, Wisconsin, already pitted.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe fruit. This will give your sorbet the best flavor.
  • Freeze the fruit before making the sorbet. This will help it to churn more smoothly and create a creamier texture.
  • Add a little bit of sugar or honey to the sorbet. This will help to balance out the sourness of the fruit.
  • If you want a more intense flavor, you can add a little bit of lemon juice or lime juice to the sorbet.
  • Serve the sorbet immediately or store it in the freezer for later.

Conclusion:

Sour Skittle sorbet is a delicious and refreshing treat that is perfect for a hot summer day. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own liking. So next time you are looking for a sweet and sour treat, give Sour Skittle sorbet a try!
