Tips:
- Use ripe peaches: The riper the peaches, the sweeter and more flavorful your cobbler will be. If you're using canned peaches, make sure they're packed in syrup, not water.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the cobbler tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the cobbler until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling: This usually takes about 30-35 minutes.
- Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream: This is the best way to enjoy this classic Southern dessert.
Conclusion:
Southern Peach Cobbler is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that's perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and juicy peaches, flaky crust, and rich, buttery flavor, this cobbler is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
