Tips:
- Choosing the Right Cut of Beef: Opt for tenderloin steaks that are at least 1 inch thick for best results. Thinner steaks may overcook easily.
- Marinating the Beef: Marinating the steaks in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, and paprika for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight) enhances their flavor and tenderness.
- Cooking the Steaks: Sear the steaks in a hot skillet or grill over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.
- Resting the Steaks: Allow the cooked steaks to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. This helps redistribute the juices and ensures a juicy and flavorful steak.
- Making the Mango Salsa: Use ripe and flavorful mangoes for the salsa. Combine them with red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt to create a refreshing and tangy condiment.
- Serving Suggestions: Serve the spiced beef tenderloin steaks with the mango salsa, grilled vegetables, or a side salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
Conclusion:
The combination of tenderloin steaks marinated in aromatic spices and grilled to perfection, paired with the vibrant and refreshing mango salsa, makes this recipe a delightful culinary experience. The flavors and textures complement each other beautifully, creating a dish that is both satisfying and memorable. Whether you're hosting a special occasion dinner or simply looking for a delicious and impressive meal, these spiced beef tenderloin steaks with mango salsa are sure to impress your taste buds.
