CHICANA
This is delicious served in tortillas (although a bit saucy) or over rice. It's easy to make and relatively quick.

CHICANA...MEXICAN I THINK?
This recipe was given to me by my friend Sherri. I have sometimes roasted the veggies before adding them to the pot, and I usually add the 6 cloves of garlic, but that is optional if you don't like garlic as much as I do. If I can find good fresh tomatoes, I use those instead of the canned ones. I also take the seeds out of the jalapenos, as my kids can't handle the heat but love to eat it. I hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family does.

Tips:
- Use quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the final dish. Use fresh, high-quality beef, vegetables, and spices.
- Marinate the beef: Marinating the beef helps to tenderize it and infuse it with flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but a simple mixture of olive oil, garlic, cumin, and chili powder is a good place to start.
- Cook the beef over medium heat: Cooking the beef over medium heat helps to prevent it from becoming tough and dry. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Use a variety of vegetables: This recipe calls for bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, but you can use any vegetables that you like. Some other good options include zucchini, squash, and corn.
- Don't overcook the vegetables: Overcooked vegetables will become mushy and lose their flavor. Cook them just until they are tender-crisp.
- Serve with your favorite sides: This dish can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, beans, or tortillas.
Conclusion:
Beef Chicana is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is packed with flavor and can be served with a variety of sides. By following these tips, you can make sure that your Beef Chicana turns out perfect every time.
