- Press about 1/2 cup of stuffing into each artichoke. Tightly pack stuffed artichokes together in a large heavy saucepan or Dutch oven. Add enough water to reach half way up artichokes and add 3 tablespoons oil.
- Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, or until leaves pull out easily.

Tips:
- Choose the right artichokes: Look for artichokes that are heavy for their size, with tightly closed leaves and no signs of bruising or wilting.
- Prepare the artichokes properly: Trim the stems and remove the tough outer leaves. Cut off the top inch or two of the artichokes to expose the choke. Scoop out the choke with a spoon or melon baller.
- Stuff the artichokes generously: Don't be afraid to stuff the artichokes tightly with your filling. This will ensure that every bite is packed with flavor.
- Cook the artichokes until tender: Artichokes should be cooked until they are tender when pierced with a fork. This usually takes about 30 minutes in a steamer or braising liquid.
- Serve the artichokes warm or at room temperature: Artichokes can be served warm or at room temperature. If you are serving them warm, drizzle them with melted butter or olive oil before serving.
Conclusion:
Stuffed artichokes are a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. They can be stuffed with a variety of fillings, so you can easily customize them to your own taste. With a little planning and effort, you can create a stunning dish that will impress your guests.
