2/3 cup water
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup hot sauce
6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Categories     bbq,chicken,grill,North American,Party Favourites,Poultry

Number Of Ingredients 16

½ cup unseasoned rice vinegar
½ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp ground coriander
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp ground allspice berries
1 medium onion diced fine
2 tsp garlic minced
½ cup lightly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp black strap molasses
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ bottle dark beer
¼ cup Chipotle chilli in Adobo sauce minced
2 cup crushed tomatoes
1 Tbsp ground chilli paste (optional for extra heat)
Salt and pepper to taste
20 20 Whole chicken wings (drumette and wingette attached) rinsed and patted dry

Steps:

  • Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan set over high heat, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Rinse wings and pat dry and place wings in a sealable plastic bag. Reserve 1 cup of sauce, and pour the rest of sauce into the bag. Toss to ensure chicken is evenly coated.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  • Once chicken is almost done marinating, preheat barbeque to medium heat 350°F (176°C). Oil grill to prevent sticking.
  • Place wings on the grill and cook 10-15 minutes per side or until crispy and cooked all the way through.
  • Remove and serve with extra sauce.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken wings: Use fresh, plump chicken wings for the best results. Avoid wings that are bruised or have freezer burn.
  • Dry the chicken wings thoroughly: Pat the wings dry with paper towels before seasoning and cooking. This will help the seasoning stick and prevent the wings from steaming.
  • Season the chicken wings generously: Use a variety of seasonings to flavor the wings. Some popular options include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • Cook the chicken wings until they are crispy: The wings should be cooked until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside. This will take about 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven.
  • Serve the chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce: Some popular dipping sauces for chicken wings include ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and honey mustard.

Conclusion:

Suicide chicken wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties or game day gatherings. With a little planning and preparation, you can make suicide chicken wings that will be a hit with your friends and family.
