This easy homemade iced tea recipe is filled with fresh peaches, sweet raspberries, and brewed Bigelow tea for a drink you'll want all summer long!

Provided by Michelle

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 cup water
1 cup honey
1 cup raspberries
3 large peaches (peeled and sliced)
1 cup water
4 cups water
3 Perfect Peach Bigelow Tea Bags
3 Red Raspberry Bigelow Tea Bags
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Lemon Wedges
Raspberries
Sliced Peaches
Mint

Steps:

  • Combine honey and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Once the honey has dissolved, turn off the heat, and allow the syrup to cool. (If you are omitting the simple syrup, you may need to add another cup of water to the final tea mixture depending upon how strong or weak you prefer your iced tea).
  • In a separate saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil, then remove from the heat and steep the 6 tea bags for 10-12 minutes (covered). Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags. Set aside.
  • With a food processor or high-powered blender, combine peeled and sliced peaches and raspberries together and puree. Add in 1 cup of water, and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the puree mixture through a fine mesh strainer in order to remove all seeds.
  • In a large pitcher, combine simple syrup, steeped tea, remaining 3 cups of water, lemon juice, and peach raspberry puree. Stir until combined.
  • Add in sliced peaches, raspberries, lemon wedges, and/or mint, if desired.
  • Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours, or serve with ice.
  • Enjoy!

A refreshing drink from Gooseberry Patch. The lemonade adds a nice, clean taste to this iced tea. For a really cool and original way to serve this drink to guests, check out step 3. Enjoy!

Provided by Nif_H

Categories     Beverages

Time 10m

Yield 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 cups boiling water
2 family-size tea bags or 8 regular tea bags
6 leaves of fresh mint
6 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate
1 cup sugar
5 cups cold water
ice cube, fresh mint sprigs

Steps:

  • Pour boiling water into a large heatproof pitcher. Add teabags and mint leaves; let stand for 5 minutes. Discard teabags and mint leaves.
  • Add frozen lemonade, sugar and cold water, mixing well. Serve over ice; garnish with mint sprigs.
  • A really neat way that Gooseberry showed this drink is to put each serving in mason jars, sealer lids and all, with a slice of lemon in each jar. Put all the jars in a bucket of ice and serve to your guests that way. Very impressive for a barbeque or gathering and a very inexpensive way to do it as well.

Tips:

  • Use fresh raspberries and peaches for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh fruit, you can use frozen or canned fruit, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Make sure the tea is brewed strong. This will help the iced tea to have a more intense flavor.
  • Let the tea cool completely before adding the fruit and other ingredients. This will help to prevent the fruit from becoming mushy.
  • Add the fruit and other ingredients to the tea just before serving. This will help to keep the fruit fresh and prevent it from becoming discolored.
  • Serve the iced tea immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Conclusion:

Summertime Raspberry Peach Iced Tea is a refreshing and delicious drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. Whether you like your iced tea sweet or tart, this recipe is sure to please. So next time you are looking for a refreshing drink to enjoy, give Summertime Raspberry Peach Iced Tea a try.
