Tips:

  • To ensure a smooth and creamy fondue, opt for high-quality peanut butter and chocolate. Ghirardelli's semi-sweet chocolate chips and Jif's creamy peanut butter are excellent choices.
  • If your fondue is too thick, add a splash of milk or cream to thin it out. Conversely, if it's too thin, simmer it for a few minutes to reduce and thicken it.
  • Be patient when melting the chocolate and peanut butter. Use low heat and stir constantly to prevent burning.
  • For a richer flavor, toast the peanuts before adding them to the fondue.
  • Serve the fondue with a variety of dippers, such as strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pretzels, and cookies. You can also offer different toppings, such as whipped cream, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts.
  • Prepare the fondue just before serving. It's best enjoyed fresh and warm.
