Sunshine broccoli salad is a dish that is both visually appealing and refreshing to the taste buds. It typically consists of broccoli florets, red onion, carrots, bacon, and dried cranberries, all tossed in a sweet and tangy dressing. The broccoli florets provide a base for the salad and add a slightly bitter flavor, while the red onion adds a sharp, pungent flavor. The carrots add a touch of sweetness, and the bacon and dried cranberries add a salty and tart flavor, respectively. The dressing is typically made from mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, and spices, and it brings all of the flavors together. Sunshine broccoli salad can be made ahead of time and served as a side dish or a main course, and it is also a popular dish to bring to potlucks.

This is kind of on the sweet side, but you can substitute granulated Splenda and also use light or fat-free Miracle Whip for calorie control. I use prepackaged all-natural bacon bits to save time. It's popular at church gatherings.
