Tips:
- Prep Your Ingredients: Before you start cooking, take the time to prep all of your ingredients. This will make the cooking process much smoother and faster.
- Choose the Right Sweet Potatoes: Look for sweet potatoes that are firm and have a deep orange color. Avoid any potatoes that have bruises or blemishes.
- Spice It Up: Don't be afraid to add some spice to your stew. A little bit of chili powder, cumin, or cayenne pepper can really enhance the flavor.
- Simmer, Don't Boil: Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the potatoes to soften.
- Serve with Sides: This stew is delicious served with a variety of sides, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
