Tips:

  • Choose the right sweet potatoes: Look for firm, unblemished sweet potatoes with smooth skin. Avoid any with bruises or soft spots.
  • Don't overcook the sweet potatoes: They should be tender but still slightly firm when pierced with a fork. Overcooked sweet potatoes will be mushy and bland.
  • Use fresh black walnuts if possible: They have a more intense flavor than dried walnuts. If you can't find fresh walnuts, use the best quality dried walnuts you can find.
  • Toast the walnuts before using them: This will bring out their flavor and make them more香脆.
  • Don't add the walnuts to the salad until just before serving: This will prevent them from getting soggy.

Conclusion:

Sweet potatoes and black walnuts are a delicious and nutritious combination. These recipes are a great way to enjoy them together.
