TATE'S BAKE SHOP CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

- Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until they are light brown.
- Cool them on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes, and remove them to wire cooling racks to cool completely.
Tips:
- Use room temperature butter and eggs. This will help the cookies spread properly and give them a more tender texture.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling and baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape.
- Use a cookie scoop to ensure uniform cookie sizes.
- Bake the cookies until the edges are just beginning to brown. Overbaking will make the cookies dry.
- Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving. This will help them set and prevent them from becoming too soft.
