Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Flank steak, skirt steak, or sirloin steak are all good choices for a stir-fry. These cuts are relatively thin and cook quickly, so they won't toughen up in the wok.
  • Slice the beef thinly: This will help it cook evenly and quickly.
  • Marinate the beef: This will help tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger, or you can get creative and try a more complex marinade.
  • Use a hot wok: A hot wok is essential for getting a good stir-fry. The high heat will help sear the beef and prevent it from sticking to the wok.
  • Stir-fry the beef in small batches: This will help prevent the beef from overcrowding the wok and cooking unevenly.
  • Don't overcook the beef: Beef for stir-fry should be cooked quickly over high heat. Overcooking will make it tough.
  • Add vegetables towards the end of cooking: Vegetables cook quickly, so you don't want to add them to the wok too early or they will overcook.
  • Use a sauce: A sauce will help to flavor the beef and vegetables and make the stir-fry more saucy and delicious.
  • Serve over rice: Teriyaki beef stir-fry is traditionally served over rice.

Conclusion:

Teriyaki beef stir-fry is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. By following these tips, you can make a teriyaki beef stir-fry that is sure to please everyone at the table.
