PORK TERIYAKI

Pork Teriyaki image

I came up with this recipe when I had leftover cooked pork that I wanted to use up. The whole family enjoys this entree. It's easy even if you don't have leftover meat, because the pork cooks so quickly. Or you can use chicken instead.-Denise Loewenthal, Hinckley, Ohio

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of pork: Pork tenderloin or pork loin are great choices for stir-fry because they are lean and tender.
  • Slice the pork thinly: This will help it cook quickly and evenly.
  • Marinate the pork: This will help it absorb flavor and become more tender.
  • Use a hot pan: This will help to sear the pork and prevent it from sticking.
  • Cook the pork in batches: This will prevent the pan from getting too crowded and the pork from steaming instead of searing.
  • Stir-fry the vegetables until they are tender-crisp: You don't want to overcook them, or they will become mushy.
  • Add the pork back to the pan: Once the vegetables are cooked, add the pork back to the pan and stir-fry until it is heated through.
  • Serve the stir-fry over rice or noodles: This will help to soak up the delicious sauce.

Conclusion:

Teriyaki pork salad is a delicious and healthy meal that can be prepared in under 30 minutes. It's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a light lunch.
