Steps:
- 1. Cut tomatoes in half, quarter onion half. Lay on baking sheet and place in 300° oven for 30 min. Allow to cool, then place tomatoes and onion in food processor and puree.
- 2. Pour into bowl and mix Thai chile sauce in. Enjoy a forehead sweating good time.
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the salsa will taste. If possible, use organic produce for the best flavor.
- Choose the right tomatoes: Not all tomatoes are created equal. For the best salsa, use Roma tomatoes or another variety that is meaty and flavorful. Avoid using watery tomatoes, as they will make the salsa too runny.
- Roast the tomatoes: Roasting the tomatoes before making the salsa will intensify their flavor and give the salsa a smoky, roasted flavor. To roast the tomatoes, simply halve them and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and salt, and roast at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, or until the tomatoes are softened and browned.
- Use a variety of peppers: Different peppers will give your salsa a different flavor profile. For a mild salsa, use green bell peppers. For a medium salsa, use poblano or Anaheim peppers. For a hot salsa, use jalapeños or serrano peppers.
- Don't be afraid to experiment: There are endless variations on Thai salsa. Feel free to experiment with different ingredients and flavors to create your own unique salsa. Some popular additions include mango, pineapple, cilantro, and lime juice.
Conclusion:
Thai salsa is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be used on a variety of dishes. It is perfect for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. It can also be used as a dipping sauce for chips, vegetables, or grilled meats. With its bright flavors and fresh ingredients, Thai salsa is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
