THE BEST PORK CHOP MARINADE RECIPE

The Best Pork Chop Marinade Recipe image

Looking for the best pork chop marinade? Well, look no further! This recipe leaves your pork so juicy, tender, and full of amazing flavor!

Provided by Six Sisters

Yield 6

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bunch green onion (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon curry powder
6 boneless pork chops

Steps:

  • In a gallon-sized resealable bag, add the soy sauce, chili sauce, honey, vegetable oil, green onions, and curry powder and mix until completely combined (I just use my hands and squish it all around in the bag until it's all mixed).
  • Add in the pork chops, then seal the bag. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours, but I highly recommend letting them marinade for 6-8 hours (or even overnight!).
  • Remove bag from fridge, place pork chops on grill over medium high heat and discard marinade. Grill for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the insides of the pork chops are no longer pink.

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for bone-in, center-cut pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick. This will ensure that they stay juicy and flavorful during cooking.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade is what will give your pork chops the most flavor, so make sure to use one that you love. There are many different recipes to choose from, so experiment until you find one that you like.
  • Marinate the pork chops for at least 30 minutes: The longer you marinate the pork chops, the more flavor they will absorb. If you are short on time, you can marinate them for as little as 30 minutes, but for the best results, marinate them for at least 2 hours.
  • Cook the pork chops over medium heat: This will help to prevent them from drying out. Cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
  • Let the pork chops rest before serving: This will help to keep them juicy and tender. Let the pork chops rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Conclusion:

Pork chops are a versatile and delicious cut of meat that can be cooked in many different ways. By following the tips above, you can make sure that your pork chops are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give pork chops a try!
