TILAPIA IN CREAM SAUCE

Tilapia in Cream Sauce image

Tilapia in a zesty cream sauce. You can substitute any of your favorite fish(maybe not salmon). I've used flounder and orange roughy but prefer tilapia over flounder for the texture and over orange roughy for the price. A very fast and very good fish recipe.

Tips:

  • Use fresh tilapia fillets. Fresh fillets will have a firm texture and a mild, slightly sweet flavor. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have an off odor.
  • Season the tilapia fillets generously. Tilapia is a mild-flavored fish, so it's important to season it well. You can use a variety of seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Cook the tilapia fillets over medium heat. Medium heat will help to prevent the fillets from overcooking and becoming dry. Cook the fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. If you're cooking multiple fillets, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the fillets from cooking evenly.
  • Serve the tilapia fillets immediately. Tilapia is best served immediately after it is cooked. This will help to ensure that the fillets are moist and flavorful.
