1 c white rum
3/4 cup high proof dark rum
3 T Campari
Orange wedges, maraschino cherries for garnish

Tips:

  • Plan ahead: Before the storm hits, make sure you have a plan in place for what you're going to eat. This includes having a list of recipes that you can make with ingredients that you already have on hand.
  • Keep it simple: During a storm, you don't want to spend a lot of time cooking. Choose recipes that are quick and easy to make.
  • Use shelf-stable ingredients: When the power goes out, you won't be able to rely on your refrigerator or freezer. Stock up on shelf-stable ingredients like canned goods, dried beans, and pasta.
  • Get creative: If you're missing a few ingredients, don't be afraid to get creative. Substitute what you have on hand for what the recipe calls for.
  • Be patient: Cooking during a storm can be challenging, but it's important to be patient. Don't get discouraged if things don't turn out perfectly.

Conclusion:

Cooking during a tropical storm doesn't have to be difficult. By following these tips, you can make sure that you and your family have plenty of food to eat, even when the power is out. So, stock up on your favorite recipes, gather your ingredients, and be prepared to weather the storm.
