Tips for Making Tuna Steak on Fettuccine

  • Use high-quality tuna steaks. Look for steaks that are thick and have a deep red color. Avoid steaks that are thin or have a lot of brown spots.
  • Season the tuna steaks well. Use a variety of seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Sear the tuna steaks in a hot skillet. This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the steaks and keep them from drying out.
  • Cook the tuna steaks to your desired doneness. Tuna steaks can be cooked rare, medium-rare, or well-done. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the steaks.
  • Serve the tuna steaks over fettuccine. Fettuccine is a wide, flat noodle that pairs well with tuna steaks. You can also serve the tuna steaks with other types of pasta, such as spaghetti or linguine.
