1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 cups walnut halves
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine the walnuts, oil and vanilla. Add sugar mixture; toss to coat., Transfer to a 15x10x1-in. foil-lined baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Number Of Ingredients 10

1 lb walnut halves
3 tablespoons corn oil
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Bring a large pan of water to a boil.
  • Blanch walnuts 1 minute.
  • Drain well.
  • Transfer to a bowl.
  • Blend corn oil with vanilla extract.
  • Pour over hot nuts.

1 1/2 c water
